Andrew Taylor Still (1838 - 1917), USA. Founder of medical osteopathy.
One of his main concerns was that doctors improve their manual examination techniques through additional osteopathic training.
Even today, an American doctor can acquire the additional qualification DO (Doctor of Osteopathy) at osteopathic colleges.
Dr. Leithoff acquired this qualification through the DGOM in Germany.
